  2. Add links to original higher level reading assessments

The reading assessments for higher levels were updated a while back with more challenging reading comprehension assessments on passages the students hadn't read before. We could add links to the original assessments on the assessments page. The original assessments were based on reading speed and accuracy of a text the students practiced during the lesson.

  3. fluency readers - add phonics skill

Can you please add the phoics skills that are addressed in each fluency reader? It would help me choose the right ones. Even something general like basic long and short vowels would help.

  5. I would like to see all the grammar lessons in a single topic.

Teachers could isolate grammar skills needed by students.

  6. Resources Organized by Grade & Proficiency Level

This would involve a new way of browsing the resources in the curriculum. You would be able to go to a particular grade level and then see resources by proficiency level or on specific common core skills, etc.

  7. An Example lesson LIVE

I would love to see lessons in action! I just learn better that way and get a better understanding of what is done through the lessons. As a newer teacher - anything visual and in action helps me reach these kiddos more!

  8. downloading fluency readers

Could the different readers be linked so I can download and print the set at once instead of having to download and print each one individually?

  9. Horizontal Slide Format for PowerPoint Files

When creating the PPT files we wanted them to be consistent-looking across print and digital formats. One of the reasons was so that your students could actually print the pages and use them or write on them as you were teaching and they would look exactly as they do on the screen. Even with online teaching, we're huge fans of students actually having paper in front of them and actually writing with a pencil if possible. A horizontal format though could be easier to teach from when teaching online and it is under consideration for development. What do you think?

  10. smaller flashcards to go with each grammar or vocabulary lesson.

I love the vocabulary flashcards that go with each grammar or vocabulary lesson, however I wish that they were smaller so that it's not just two flashcards per page. It ends up being a lot of paper to print out a whole set of flashcards, especially if I need to print out multiple sets for my students so they can all practice at the same time.

  11. One powerpoint for a complete lesson.

I wish the vocabulary and phonics lessons within a unit could be in one powerpoint. I feel i'm all over the place trying to get it to flow.

  12. multi level

Hi, I am wondering what resources would be best for a multi-level class. From beginner to intermediate. It would be neat if there was an option to access materials that would work for all levels at the same time. It's a very hard and common situation for ELL teachers to be in. Thanks! Maya

  14. Vocabulary Definitions and Examples

Please include a list of kid-friendly definitions and example sentences for the vocabulary pages. Making our own dictionaries is time consuming because when we look up definitions and examples the students often don't understand them.

  15. Listening Skills to help match Listening Tests

Hi - I find the Listening Test Review Assessment (Beginner 4 - Unit 5-8 Assessments) really helpful and informative; however, why aren't we doing more practice lessons in the units? What do you use for your students to practice? Obviously, they listen when we give instructions and daily speaking and listening but we don't then ask multiple choice questions afterwards. I would love to do more with this type of skill as I know they are tested in the ELL classes at school. I am the tutor. Thanks, Jill
